I want to tell you how I feel about Grace. God’s Grace. As you might have learned from some of my previous posts, I am a Christian. Christians, including myself, have troubles. Christians “flub up.” Christians sin. I am a sinner. Romans 3:23-24 (KJV) says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” This is where I feel we need to PRAY for forgiveness (check out my previous post on prayer here), and be THANKFUL for God’s GRACE because we were SAVED by the blood of His son Jesus! My interpretation of this verse in Romans is that although I sin, God will give me His GRACE and forgive me! Isn’t that AMAZING??? 🙂 #savedbygrace #thankfulforHisgrace
I am basically a fairly shy person. (I know, right?) For some of those who know me well, I’m sure you would argue that fact, lol. 🙂 That’s one of the reasons I decided to become a blogger. It helps me because I can hide behind a computer screen. 😉 Anyway, something I feel passionate about is spreading the Word of Jesus! I believe we were put here to be kind, compassionate, caring, and to let others know that Jesus is the ONLY way to eternal life! However, when you’re shy, even sharing the Word of Jesus can be scary!
I think I have found a solution to my problem…an easier way for me to share the Word with people. Have you ever heard of Mary & Martha in the Bible? These are two sisters found in the Gospel of Luke. When Jesus and His disciples were traveling, they came to Mary & Martha’s home, and the sisters were very hospitable. Mary was very attentive to what Jesus had to say, but Martha was more worried about the house; making food, cleaning, and was too distracted to listen to Jesus. Which do you think you would be if Jesus came to your home? A “Mary” type person, or a “Martha” type person? I recommend this neat DVD series combo from Amazon called:
Anyway, I said above, I think found an easier way to share Jesus. It’s actually called “Mary & Martha!” Mary & Martha is a direct sales company of Hallmark and DaySpring, and I became and Independent Consultant for them almost a year ago, because I love their products so much. The main company is based out of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and they “design products to open the doors of hearts and homes to a Creator who stands and knocks.” We have what we call “Gatherings” which are similar to what is known as parties. We bring the items to your home to show, and you order; and the hostess gets gifts, free stuff, and discounts, and we have an amazing time having fellowship while sharing the Word of the Lord!! This is the easiest for me…the product sells itself, and since each product has some type of inspirational message, it helps me share Jesus! WIN, WIN!!! 🙂 #Mary&Martha We get a new catalog twice a year and the Fall/Winter catalog just arrived! You can check it out by clicking below:
From the first time I saw Mary & Martha products, one of my favorite collections has been the “Grace and Gratitude” collection. Think about it, GRACE. This is something I HAVE and LOVE from this collection:
Here are more pictures of my fav’s! I can’t believe all these beautiful things! I don’t care where you live, if you would like a catalog, let me know, I would be happy to mail you one! Or, check my website HERE ! 🙂
Something I think is very helpful to help us feel God’s grace is to read from the Bible and journal daily! In James 4:6 (KJV) it says “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” This helps you realize that God will give us grace. You shouldn’t expect grace. If you don’t have a Bible, there are some amazing journaling Bibles from Amazon you can purchase here—> BIBLES
Mary & Martha has something new for journaling your faith. It’s called “100 Days of Bible Promises” (+ heart stickers & washi tape). And on September 1, 2018, another one will be available also, “100 Days of Grace & Gratitude” (+ cross stickers & washi tape). I know you won’t want to miss out on these. ORDER HERE
II Corinthians 12:9 says “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (KJV)
